Registration for the 2022 Lacrosse season is now OPEN!

Indoor Soccer City sessions begin Monday, February 28th for the BLA Boys, and Tuesday, March 1st for the BLA Girls from 4:30-5:30 pm. You must be registered to take part.

The BLA will once again be providing uniforms for all players this season.

Please be advised that there are new lacrosse pad rules for the 2022 season. All field players must wear protectors for commotio cordis (shoulder pads) that meet the NOCSAE ND200 standard and contain an SEI certification mark. You can find that information here: https://www.lacrosseunlimited.com/lacrosse-rules-changes/

Due to this change in required shoulder pads, the BLA will no longer be able to provide gear to any player this season.

4/1/2021:

GIRLS - We are still looking to fill out our Girls Rosters. FREE TO PLAY this year. What do you have to lose?

Sign up today! Registration will close in a couple of weeks.

BOYS- First and foremost, the BLA is very pleased that the town is allowing our youth lacrosse program to continue this year.  As you are aware, all applicants had been placed on a waitlist. That waitlist was formed due to the uncertainty of having a season.  Since we have received the green light to proceed, those on the waitlist will turn into registrants and payments will be accepted.

Our organization falls under the Connecticut Valley Youth Lacrosse organization. We follow their guidelines and rules. The organization is comprised of teams in Connecticut and Western Mass. This year, all teams have been separated into regions.  We will be playing the majority of our games within our region which is comprised of Belchertown, Amherst, W. Springfield, E. Longmeadow, S. Hadley, Wilbraham, and Longmeadow.

We will be playing several games this season.  All games have to be scheduled between April 25 to June 5, 2021.  Our practice schedule will be released as soon as the fields open.

1/25/2021:

Registration is open for the BLA 2021 Lacrosse Season!

Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 environment, BLA will not be collecting any fees at the time of Registration this year.  We are very optimistic, however, that we will have a lacrosse season this year and our kids will be out there on the fields, having fun and competing against neighboring teams just as we have in past seasons.  All registered players will be added to our age-appropriate rosters, and payment will be due once the details regarding the 2021 season are known.

BLA has also decided to reduce costs for families as much as possible this season.  Uniforms will be provided to all registered players.  Please click on REGISTER NOW to sign your players up!  The sooner we are able to determine our roster sizes, the easier it will be to plan for the upcoming season.  We will provide additional information regarding the 2021 Season as soon as it is known.

Jan 2020: NEW THIS YEAR

BLA will be providing uniforms for all participants!!!
You will no longer be required to purchase a uniform.

Please contact any current board members to see how you can help.  We are only as good as our parents and volunteers.
We encourage you to get involved.
